The D&D 5e XP Calculator tracks a character's experience progress and helps groups plan encounter rewards. It tells you exactly how far you are from the next level and splits encounter XP across your party automatically.
In the Your Progress section, select your current level and enter your current XP total to see how much remains before leveling up. In the Party XP Planning section, choose your party size, pick the challenge rating of the monsters fought, and enter the number of monsters. The tool calculates total encounter XP and divides it evenly among party members.
Does it split XP across the party? Yes. Enter your party size and the tool divides the encounter total so each player sees their individual share.
Can I track multiple characters? The progress tracker covers one character at a time. Run the encounter planner once and apply each player's share individually using the progress section.
